I typically require money incentives to draw specific topics / themes &/or more of something- since I primarily draw what I'm interested in, in the moment.

ART TRADES: ❓

(What is an art trade? one / two) case by case, ask directly!! I can be picky. You'd also need to be farther along with your side of the trade

why:

Part of is, I'm a little tired of doin' art for others, Even though I can enjoy it from time to time but I'd rather fill My Portfolio with more examples of my characters and my practices before I take on a mountain of debt that I'm not ready for .. (again)

More of it Is inspired off of a post I saw a long time ago - " Art trades are a way to con artist out of getting free art " I didn't understand but now I do in 2026.

People don't value art trades as if it were a Commission. People are a lot less willing to make edits to something that was given/made "for free" Simply 'cause it wasn't paid for which I don't agree with, and in turn... don't wanna take a risk with. I've also had my characters misrepresented so many different that I'd rather bite the bullet and limit it from happening again. For art trades I'd prefer stay in my comfort zone, And not offer it as widely anymore just to be kind with other people .. There are ways to build a relationship with an artist other than wanting to trade w/ em!

+I understand people don't have money cuhz the job market has been significantly ass for a long time, It really sometimes is the small few that ruin it for the bunch. if you'd like some general pointers for things a look for if I do consider art trades Is:

1. if your gallery consists of black characters

2. fat characters,

3. humanoid/animalistic characters;

It makes sense to stay in my zone trading w/people that have the similar gallery as me. It makes sense to do a trade with someone who draws himanoids/kemonomimis, Not with someone who strictly draws ferals, with little to no diverse examples. I don't particularly enjoy my characters being used as practice, Even if it is with good intentions- Study on your own time with references

A collab can be a variety of different things; but obviously, a collaborative piece by me and you; or multiple artists, including ZINE's!

Requests are when I draw your character typically for free (except, i usually always require something free in return; It could be a follow, a specific interaction, etc)

Requests are typically in a 'skeb' style. (a surprise) I've linked a post that describes what it is, but it's generally just a "Surprise". At the end of the day are meant to be something I do for fun and leisure. I'm not gonna stick to a specific theme or limit myself with no kinds of incentives either

If you'd like a revision/addition, there will be a (paid) fee (quoted)
