Hi

I want to give advice & lowk rant to people who are advertising & offering themselves to people whos searching for commissions as someone who was on the receiving end of a multitude of artiteests showing me their art...

Treat it as an elevator pitch ☝🏾❗️

Of course not everyone is like me but personally cus my life is busy and i often dont got the time to sit down and literally dig for stuff it makes my life 100 times easier when people have information , examples, whatever relavent upfront

Its also similar to a resume.

It helps someone get a taste of your art (business) and what they may be looking for also if you slightly tailor your art samples to what some people ( me for example) be looking for, or even have some of the basic diversities like fat / black / curly hair / gemeral variety.

For me it absolutely makes or breaks weither or not ill commission someone ...

I really feel like if more artists did this they may also have better luck when it comes to trying to promote themselves.. and being consistent at it considering' the art market, especially nowadays , AI 'n everything is making it harder to get commissions and parse through the copious amounts of people also looking to get commissioned ..

And maybe it's just me, but I don't see a lot of artists taking it upon themselves to go out of their way and advertise themselves, they kind of just post commissions.And hope people will wander by one realistically I don't think just doing that is gonna get by any more unless you're already really popular & people recommend you regardless bc youre a "household name" which...is not the majority, def not me.

Having your own set, little copy paste messages & pre-picked art can help alot

Came here to talk abt how aggravating its been to have people also disregarding my simple ask to provide diversity LOL i personally am not gonna parse thrrough your massive gallery to find maybe 2 far apart examples of what im seeking .. please make it easy for me and you thanks
